First Professional Voice Over Gig

A few month ago I booked my first voice over gig and it was such an awesome experience. The client was a maternity hospital in Atlanta but I got to record at a super swanky recording studio on Michigan Ave. The studio engineer and advertising folks were lovely but I was surprised that it was actually pretty hard work to give them exactly what they wanted. Here are the final cuts of both of the spots that we recorded:

My First TV Appearance!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be appearing on the Season 4 premier of Chicago Med!  I am so grateful to my beautiful agents at Grossman and Jack and the hard working crew and Karge+Ross Casting for making it possible.  What a thrill to get to play on such a great show with such a kind cast and crew.  It was an incredible experience and I learned a ton!

Meals for Monologues

Had such a great experience at Meals for Monologues with Simon Casting.   Got there at the crack of dawn and it paid off!  Got to the be the first actor in the room and it was such a warm room.  They were all kind and generous and it could not have been a better experience.  Thanks Simon Casting for supporting actors and supporting those in need!

Back in the Classroom

It's only been two years since I completed grad school but somehow I have already found myself aching to be a student again.  I could not be more thrilled to be focusing on developing my craft this season and to be in class with two incredible teachers.  For the next 8 weeks I will be taking On-Camera 3 with the Chicago Actors Studio and the Folio 1 Course with Chicago Shakespeare Theater.  Last week was the first week of classes and I am already in awe of the experience and wisdom that my teachers have to share with me, can't wait to see what's in store!

So Excited to Work with Tantrum Theater this Summer!

"Tantrum was founded in the fall of 2015 by Ohio University’s College of Fine Arts. The theater is a professional company and serves as a training ground providing apprenticeships for students in the Theater Division. The name Tantrum Theater comes from a group of Ohio University graduate students who discovered that one of the collective names for a group of bobcats is a Tantrum. The mascot of Ohio University is the bobcat. Tantrum’s mission is to create and propel forward a resident professional theater company and training conservatory in Dublin, Ohio in a partnership between the City of Dublin, Dublin Arts Council, and the Ohio University College of Fine Arts." -

Can't believe how lucky I am to be working with this emerging theater company in it's first season and couldn't be more excited to be working with such a talented cast on this beautiful and timeless play!

Noises Off Opens This Friday

Working on the role of Brooke in Noises Off has been an absolutely insane and amazing process every step of the way.  I could not be more proud of the work that has gone in to this show from every single area- actors, designers, director, crew, etc.  It has truly been a team effort in every sense of the word.  Now that we have survived an exhausting yet exhilarating tech weekend, we will be moving in to media night, previews, and then opening night on Friday, March 27th.  Can't wait to share our hard work with our colleagues, professors, and the community!
